En novembre 2024 j'ai posté l'album 'Thriller' de Michael JACKSON sorti en 1982.

Aujourd'hui je vous propose son premier album sorti dix ans plus tôt.

Il y revisitait quelques succès de l'époque:

• "Ain't no sunshine" de Bill WITHERS (1971)
• "Rockin' Robin" de Bobby DAY (1958)
• "Love is here and now you're gone" des SUPREMES (1967)
• "You've got a friend" de Carole KING (1971)

sans oublier "Got to be there" (qu'il créé et donne son nom à l'album) qui devient n° 1 du 'Cashbox' et n° 4 du 'Billboard'.
