Sa carrière stagnant, Doris TROY débarque à Londres en 1969 alors que la mode "Northern soul" est à son apogée.
Elle signe un contrat avec le label Apple des BEATLES et co-produit cet album qui sort en 1970 avec George HARRISON. C'est le pressage US que je vous propose.
Elle reste en Angleterre jusqu'en 1974 avant de rentrer aux USA.
The thing I always liked about Apple Records beyond it being the Beatles label was that they were open to releasing anything, regardless of genre or sales potential. I’ve heard Doris Troy’s name many times over the years in relation to Apple but have not heard her music. Thank you for this opportunity.
