Après un premier album "Esquire" sorti sur Abner en 1959, Jerry BUTLER passe chez Vee Jay et enregistre cet album suite au succès remporté par:

"He will break your heart" (n° 7 du Hot 100 du Billboard, n° 3 du Cashbox).

    Going by cover art. This must be from the era when black artists' pictures weren't put on LP to help sales especially in southern US.
