En 1966, Bobby DARIN revient en force dans les classements avec un titre emprunté à Tim HARDIN "If I were a carpenter". Il se classe à la 8ème place du Hot 100. Johnny HALLYDAY en fait "Si j'étais un charpentier" (1966).
L'album contient quatre autres titres de Tim HARDIN: "Reason to believe", "Misty roses", "Red balloon", "Don't make promises".
- "Daydream" est la reprise du titre des LOVIN' SPOONFUL
- "Until it's time for you to go" celle du titre de Buffy SAINTE-MARIE (1965)
This really was something of a comeback in the day. Suddenly Bobby Darin was a folk-rocker and relivant in mid-sixties pop. The title track could have fit on Rubber Soul. Many thanks Pat.
